How To Use
Using the cream and powder shade individually:
- Apply the cream blush on the apples of the cheeks with a blush brush or dab a dot or two along the apples of the cheeks with your fingers. Then, blend out to achieve a soft wash of colour.
- Apply the powder blush on the upper cheekbones with a blush brush.
Using both blush types together:
- For a healthy-looking glow, begin by applying the powder blush on the upper cheeks with a brush. Next, use your fingertips to layer the cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks.
- For a lasting effect, start by applying the cream blush using your fingertips or a brush. Then, layer the powder blush on top to set and intensify the colour, adding depth and dimension.
How to recognise if you have a warm or cold skin tone and pick up the right blush (127473 Pink Spring Fling – recommended for warm skin tones, 127474 Mauvy Night – recommended for cold skin tones).
There are three undertone categories: COLD, WARM, and NEUTRAL, and most definitely you fall into one of them. Find your undertone by answering 3 questions:
- Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist, if they look greenish, then your skin may have warm undertones. If the veins appear blue or purple, then you may have cool undertones. If you have neutral undertones, then your veins may appear both green and purple.
- Assess your jewellery. Traditional gold jewellery typically looks better on warm undertones. Silver, platinum and rose gold jewellery tends to flatter cooler undertones. You may have neutral undertones if you tend to look good in both silver and gold.
- Neutral-coloured clothing can also indicate your undertones. Cold white and black tends to favour cooler undertones, while warm undertones look better in warm white and brown. Like jewellery, if you have a neutral undertone, you look good in all colours.
